What Travally Does
Travally is a travel bookmark manager. The browser extension lets you save URLs from any page to your Travally account. The web app lets you organize, tag, and search your saved bookmarks.
Data We Collect
- Account information: Your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase authentication).
- Bookmarks: URLs you save, along with any notes or tags you add.
- Enrichment data: When you save a bookmark, we automatically fetch publicly available metadata about the URL (page title, description, images) to enrich your saved entry.
Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not track your browsing history.
- We do not collect data from pages you visit unless you explicitly save a bookmark.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.
How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database. Authentication tokens are stored locally in your browser's extension storage. All communication between the extension, web app, and our servers uses HTTPS encryption.
Third-Party Services
- Supabase: Authentication and database hosting.
- Cloudflare: Web app and API hosting.
- AI providers: We use third-party AI services to power features like automatic bookmark classification, metadata extraction, and search. Bookmark URLs, page content, notes, tags, and search queries may be shared with these providers to deliver these features. No personal account information (such as your email or password) is sent.
Your Rights
You can delete your bookmarks at any time from the web app. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the email below.
Browser Extension Permissions
- activeTab: Used to read the URL of the page you're currently viewing when you open the extension popup to save a bookmark.
- storage: Used to store your authentication session locally so you stay signed in.
